Broughton Craggs is a great little venue, located a couple of miles past Cockermouth and quite convenient for the north western Lake District. Wedding photographers really do love the rounds and the views from the front. There are paths though lines of trees, some amazing stone stone steps for large groups and a covered area for rainy day weddings.
The main room can hold a good volume of people and as the rest of the hotel is split into smaller rooms, catching fleeting images of guests is easier than in some of the bigger lakes hotels. This seems to be a perfect hotel for the reportage photographer.
